You've decided. You're going to do it! You're going to be successful, but your weight loss has slowed. Here's some suggestions to help you along the way:
- You need to get your lymphatic drainage sparked first thing in the morning. Drinking 32 oz of water the first thing in the morning requires distribution by the lymphatic system which will facilitate fatty acid elimination.
- Another way to get your lymphatic drainage going early in the day instead of later is to walk a little bit. Now we don't want you power walking, but a 1/2 mile casual walk will do the trick. Walking your dog would be a great start to the day.
- Spices like cayenne, red chili powder, turmeric, and cinnamon, all of which are allowed on the program, have been shown to help rev up your metabolism, which can lead to increased fat burning, and help curtail cravings. They can also help make your food taste better.
- Cut back on stress. Gentle yoga and meditation will do wonders for your waistline. After all, study after study has showed that stress leads to hormonal cacophony in your body.
- Don’t eat late. Chowing down on full dinner after about 7 p.m. has been shown to lead to increased higher insulin and cholesterol levels, a sluggish metabolism, and even increased biomarkers for heart disease and diabetes. Try to eat your dinner as early as you can without being too hungry at night, but no later than 7.
