Week 1 – Day 6

We want you to know that approximately 10% of patients have a headache today. If you are one of the 10%, there is no need to be alarmed. The headache is due to the fact that your body is balancing your blood sugar/insulin levels, and your body is going through a mild detoxification.

Most often, the person who has a headache is not drinking enough WATER. Remember the post from Day 3… Make sure you are drinking enough water. You should be drinking a minimum of half of your body weight in ounces of water each day. For example: if you weigh 200 pounds, you should be drinking no less than 100 ounces of water.

Also, you should be due for you first follow-up visit, most likely with me, Tammy Gallagher. DO NOT MISS THE APPOINTMENT! It is the perfect time to get questions answered and to be able to show your dedication and success. Your journal will be reviewed to ensure you're not missing something simple that could result in improved weight loss, and you will get your weekly body composition analysis to see your progress.

Your scale shows your weight loss, but not your metabolic age for example. You will be amazed at how weight affects the age of your body and you'll get these results on your weekly body composition report.

Regarding my journey, the cool part is that lunch time came and I wasn't hungry, even after not having breakfast. Yay.

The bad part is that I took my mid day supplement too late and I was hungry for dinner. Make sure you take the supplements ontime. It's a huge difference on your appetite.

Today my weight was lower than my starting weight for the first time by 2 pounds. I basically lost 2 pounds in one day. Wooo whooo.

The day overall was just a normal day. Not any temptations, and a little bit hungry at dinner. If this becomes the typical day, I that will be great news actually!

In the evening I made another crockpot meal...zucchini spaghetti. Take a look at the recipes for details. It's my lunch on Friday. I made four servings and froze a couple to last me over the weekend.
